When my family and I moved to Woodlake a few years ago, we felt that the community was just a perfect place to raise and grow a family. From the natural beauty of the neighborhoods to the esteemed elementary, middle and high schools in the area, you couldn't pick a better place to live in Chesterfield County. From the mature trees and rolling hills --  to the serenity of the Swift Creek Reservoir, it provided a safe, enjoyable place to live -- and one that we plan on living in for a long time.

In short, it fit. And it felt right.

We felt the only thing missing from our Woodlake experience was an interactive place to conversate with the neighbors. Sure, you can have a conversation in the street when you're walking your dog or taking a late afternoon stroll on one of the many walking trails, but there was really no way to meet a lot of people and no manner in which to have a discussion amongst the thousands of home owners here in our community.

So, we did something about that.

Introducing Woodlake Chat. It's an interactive site where you can talk with your neighbors, meet new friends, read about yard sales, discuss hot topics in and around the neighborhood. You can have a real time place to converse with your neighbors.

The site will maintain a front page where we will post occasional news, but the main sticking point of the site will be the message boards. As a homeowner or resident of Woodlake, this will be a place where you can browse the topics that people are talking about, read community bulletins, ask general questions or just check on the weather forecast. Really, the site will be whatever you want it to be.

And that's the beauty of it. It's your site. To be whatever you want it to be.

Now, we want to be clear that we are not affiliated with the Woodlake Community Association. We are an independent site, but if you want to post community bulletins from the official site, you're certainly more than welcomed to.
